This will be my first trip to what seems to be a very unpopular venue!!

I have heard that parking is a nightmare so was wondering whether anyone can suggest a good place to pick up a train to Gillingham having crossed into Kent. Ideally it will be somewhere we could have a drink and a good curry before the game.

Any suggestions much appreciated.

Parking is no trouble at Gillingham, in fact its one of the easiest there is!!! If you go past the away end of the ground across the level crossing and take the next turning on the left, just as you go over the hump back bridge there is a car park that I think is even free in the evenings....if not, its only a couple of quid. The coaches park there so the old bill always keep a look out for you!

Go to the nearest pub with Sky sports, order a pint, sit in the warm and enjoy. No petrol, no entrance to pay, no queues on M25, no Dartford Crossing, no freezing your nuts off and no late night home. No brainer.

Also no atmosphere and no celebrating with Moshni when he runs to the away fans.

After last night I wouldn't bother to go normally but am meeting an old friend so will make the trip....................but I fear we will be well beaten if last night's performance is repeated.

Any other suggestions gratefully received!!??

Yep, agree with this, it's only around the immediate vicinity of the ground you have difficulty parking. Think it's about half a mile walk from this car park, maybe a bit less.
