Folks - just an opinion at the moment - but until Weds only Ron knows whats going on..

If we really coulnd't afford 600k - do you honestly think we would have opted to keep the youth team going this season? Would we have splashed out on Meet The Blues day?

We don't look like a club that's struggling and trying save every penny - selling Barney/Macca could have simply raised enoigh cash (pre transfer embargo) - we turned down Millwall's offer.

We wouldn't have splashed out on Friend's wages - simply played Herd.

- In the grand scheme of things 600k ain't a lot peeps!!

I'm sure all will be sorted - Bring on Wednesday..

We axed half of the youth team pre-season (some that looked promising), and have followed that up by selling the better players.

Secondly, we hardly 'splashed out' on MTBD. It was staged in a car park! lol.

In reality, this club has turned into a joke lately

Don't panic Mr. Mannering..

I like the sentiment of your post and have particularly rouge-hued spectacles myself, but I don't think even I, Beefy or FBM would argue that we DO look like a club that's struggling to save every penny.

We have a squad of about 14. We've sent out several players on loan. We've not bought anyone for ages, merely relied on loanees. And we refuse to name a full bench to, it'd appear, save a few quid.

I'd suggest this alone shows we're struggling.

i feel a small degree of panic

Just posted this on another thread, but after actually thinking about it, i too am now a tad worried

- No money
- Probable admin equaling 10 point deduction
- a squad of 17 pro's
- of which 5 are injured, leaving 12 fit pro's for fridays game (1 being a GK)
- Our best potential player has buggered off due to...well, does anyone know?
