Come on look at it from a neutrals point of view .....if a group of children where acting like the goings on on here sometimes you would bang their heads together and just say stop being so childish and stupid.

And if you actually did that in the real world (well certainly in my neck of the woods) you would the receive a visit from the old-bill (one of whom happens to be a racist, bigoted neurologically challenged monkey) accusing you of all manner of crimes as they've "been informed" by the lackadaisical parents of one the said minors that calling them stupid is just not on!

Yep it is getting pathetic now and I have no chip on my shoulder, it just seems that the 'lets call one another by our real names clique' are determined to drive out other forummers.

I now only really read whats going on with Southend United and have a quick peruse of the pub section. I find much of it too cliquey for words. My time is better spent elsewhere.

Bit of a pity as I as disagreed with him on pretty much 100% of his points the threads that he was involved in were either funny, or did actually lead to some reasoned debate, and i learnt bits and pieces from all of them.

Think the ban was a bit harsh as there are plenty of childish things posted by various people on here who don't get banned.

Read the thread that led to GB's ban and I can see his point..He is a wind up merchant and that does irritate people, but he did have a point to make regarding being labelled racist. If GB was called racist but nothing was said, why did a mod step in when he accused someone else of being racist, but not the other way round, seems a bit clique scenario to me...

No, I am not on a wind up, just trying to look at it from an outside point of view, as I was not involved in any thread regarding this!

It is a temporary ban, giving the owners a chance to discuss it properly when we are all online.

It's not unusual for us to ban someone for a short while when it becomes clear that they are on some sort of wind-up crusade on a particular day (or usually night).
