Cross has left Thurrock to join the AFC Hornchurch revolution and fellow former Shrimper, Jamie Southon.

Quite a strange one considering he was one of the best players in the Conference South last year and was being looked at by clubs far higher in the pyramid than Hornchurch. As they're my local club I'm quite glad they've got him though, he'll be a class above in that league.

I thought Cross was a great player, the tackle on Craig Bellamy that broke his leg in the pre-season friendly VS Norwich was quality....
