Out of everyone, we again seem to have the easiet match this weekend

With Crawley at Rotherham and Cheltenham against Oxford and Shrewsbury against Wimbledon I can see us pulling even further away

It just feels everything is going our way

Oh and by the way Bristols a shxthole, youre wanna stay here:smile:

The good thing about teams below us playing each other is that one team, or both in a draw, will drop points. So we will either pull away from some or if things don't quite go our way we will not plummet down the table.

Certainly the last thing we want to hear this week is Paul Buckle getting the boot. Don't object so much if it happens after next weekend, following a heavy defeat!

Remember that ginger nut plays for them. He will be doing his best to wind everyone up including the crowd. Watch out Moshni he will be targeting you first as before:finger:

With Moshni now playing in midfield it will be more likely that Mark Phillips will have the job of marking Harrold.

As much as it pains me to say it I thought Harrold had a great game against us last year for Shrewsbury and I kinda couldn't blame him for wheeling away towards us after he scored. He'd been getting some pretty horrific abuse all game n then hit an absolute screamer. He wouldnt have scored that goal if it wasnt against us I don't think. It sat up for him and he thought "**** it I'm hitting this" and it flew in.

I think he's half decent at League Two level in giving his team something to build from by holding the ball up well. That said I've been amazed at the form of Mark Phillips this season and expect him to have Harrold in his back pocket all afternoon.

Agreed - no easy games. Bristol Rovers are looking for the points and will work hard to get at least one. Grant will be back and we shall see after the Preston game whether the flu threat has passed - if so that leaves us with a full squad to choose from .......... so whilst I can see Rovers working hard and holding the first XI for much of the game, I find it harder to believe that they can contain a full Southend squad with all the sub options that we have .............

We need a big win to maintain form after a few difficult games, 3-1 hopefully. A win is important considering we may possibly drop points at Cheltenham in the next league game.

As for the other 3 fixtures, hopefully Crawley loose and the others all draw!

Crawley will murder Rotherham.... Both teams (Crawley and Southend) will push each other all the way

Cheltenham away. Who would have thought that could be one of our biggest tests of season?

I know what you mean but we have a terrible record down at Cheltenham so it is always a tough place to go...for us.

Deffinately won't be an easy game, anyone can beat anyway in this league. Barnet beat them away on saturday so I'm sure they will be out to get a win. Let's hope we can beat them and Crawley Oxford etc will slip up.

I never lose to Cheltenham when I visit them 3 time, 1 a 1-1 draw, another is 3-0 and 2-0 win!

Already booked a Travelodge room for the Cheltenham game. I think we need as much support as posssible to get to this one. It is pay on the gate for us. One small problem, as I'm driving, where does one park because the races are on that day as well and I'm told its too far from the town centre?

I do remember getting to a past evening game (1-1 - Bailey rescues a draw .........) and missing the first 10 minutes or so trying to put the metal box in a space within a mile of the ground.

Never been when the racing is on as well (sounds like a potential nightmare) but in general, parking around the ground is not good .......... I would say get there early, still park some way away and find a public house to while away an hour or so...........

And of course a 3rd v 1st clash could lead to an even bigger attendance than usual .........

Bristol Rovers were second favourites for the division at the start of the season. They've got some quality in their squad but a toothless home defeat on Saturday against Barnet sums them up. Should be a home banker and I'll take a scrappy 1-0.
