Game off?

118Blue

Speaking to a mate this morning who works with a Col U fan who thinks there's a big chance the game will be called off due to a frozen pitch.

Apparently there's an inch of snow in Braintree, the last time they had snow on the pitch at Layer Road they got the fans in to clear it and still called the game off, obviously they thanked them both for their efforts.

There is not a drop of Snow in Benfleet & Basildon, so the God is trying his best to pile the fixture up for Col******r & fcuk their season up!

In another hand, I hope its go-ahead.

Forecast says it could get down as low as -4 in Col******r overnight, but tomorrow will be a Sunny day with little cloud cover and highs of 7, so i can't see this game being called off...

We have some snow up here already but it isn't that bad, just surface stuff.

The pitch freezing isn't beyond the realms of possibility though as the cars are all frozen over in the mornings now.

What snow? nice and sunny & warm here.

there was a light dusting yesterday, but no more fell overnight. the sun has melted all, but shaded spots so I wouldn't envisage too many problems the forcast is more of the same tomorrow, perhaps a degree warmer.

Pitch has been covered so the game should be on whatever happens tonight

Most of relegation 6 pointer game is off, the last thing the bottom 8 side want is a fixture pile up, while another team who is in bottom 10 win, mean they got points on board to put pressure on the team who have game cancalled.

Bradford v Blackpool - MATCH OFF
Port Vale v Milton Keynes Dons - MATCH OFF
Rotherham v Oldham - MATCH OFF (Now being played on 14 March)
Scunthorpe v Hartlepool - Pitch inspection on Saturday at 1000 GMT
Swindon v Tranmere - MATCH OFF
Walsall v Bournemouth - Pitch inspection on Saturday at 1000
