Bit gutting really you put lots of time and money into developing the player and then he jumps ship as soon as his youth contract is up!

That is a blow. I wonder how long the yoofs will continue if the better players keep getting nicked for nothing. Maybe we would be better spending the cash to nick players from other clubs set ups

Got the impression the club thought he may be off by the way they phrased the initial offer to him.

Not fussed to be honest, never thought he would be up to the job and if he were then he would have been knocking on the door of the first team already.

If he see's Stevenage as the better 'long term' option then good luck to the lad and i hope he does well.

Saw him play a few ressies and he did well he is young athletic and full of enthusiastic energy
he is not going to fit in to PS plans for the near future and when a club come calling that actually
want you then its time to go ...........I think he will be one to watch over the next few years so good luck
to him and his family who i know were anxious as to his future

He's a right back isn't he? So would have been unlikely to be getting in the first team any time soon.

League 2 promotion chasing is not really the time and place to bring in youngsters, however when we are promoted to league 1 I expect to see players get more of a chance!
