Dear Deidre,
'I think I've got a gambling problem.Every time I go down to my local I buy a drink then spend the rest of my money on the fruit machines. At first it was just a couple of quid now and again, but lately I can't seem to resist playing every time I'm out. I always end up spending everything I've got and usually lose. It's getting so bad I'm having trouble paying my debts, bills etc.
I kidded myself that I could stop any time, I've even tried taking less money out with me, but I soon missed the excitement and the thrill of taking risks.'
Does this sound like anyone we know?
