Right, put you lot out of your misery. Freddy as of today at 14.50 is still a Blues player. Clubs are interested but no moves have been made yet. He was not in Fulham today, spoke to Charlton or anything listed on the Zone today. It is beleived that it will be at least another week before anything is at best offered or discussed between him/agent or any other clubs. So all can relax for the time being anyway. Hope that put's an end to the rumour mill.

As a matter of interest these strikers we are gong for. Do you think they are to play with Freddy or to replace him?

I think Tilly will be buying these players anyway. Fred is part of the team for now. Even with Fred we need another striker. I am sure that if Fred was to go at some point we would purchase a further crop of players to either keep us in the Champioship or get us back up again. The money would be used to build on the current squad i'm sure.

Then perhaps you can shed some light on the McDonald/O'Donovan transfers as, at the moment, it looks as if both have hit a brickwall.

Going back to the other thread that was slightly annoyingly locked (who is this Leeboy character??), I don't think that playing in the FA Cup would necessarily take much off of Freddy's value. It's not the Champions League and would only act as a minor annoyance.

The Mans a Southend United Legend, I don’t want him to go but if we are talking about millions of pounds, a club our size this will help us build for the future and move on forward n upwards
I hope Freddy in the future returns and WILL see out his Footballing days at Southend United FC hopefully at our new ground

Not sure about anyone else, after supporting Southend for all my life (38 years I must add) I never felt  our club so safe  under Ron,Tilly,Brush cos I know they all will give Southend United FC 110 percent effort towards the club they love to make us a success on and of the field

On the Fulham site there is somebody who is just like Wrongun on here who posts updates and is always right by the name of Barra. He says that Eastwood or his agent has held talks with Fulham twice.
