All this talk of him being overweight is nonsense. Saw him at training and he looks like the same old Freddy to me.

Quality. A lot more of his goals were 6 yard poachers goals than I remember.

His early ones were often poachers efforts and the rare goals that he's got since he left have tended to be as well. I think in his last year with us though only one of his 16 goals come from closer than the penalty spot. Stoke away, I think.

Can't wait to check this video out when I get home. Great effort.

WOW. Fantastic, Ayrshire. Thank you for that.
Hope Freddy sees this. It will remind him how good he is, even tho Coventry tried to hypnotize him into thinking he is a midfielder. Are the alright?
The sheer quality of those goals, especially near the end. So many of them he has the ball outside the box and not much seems on, but one way or the other it ends up in the net.

Even though many were from close range...what most have in common is they show a touch of class....something we are sorely missing. People say class is permanent, well I certainly hope so.

Love that goal against Yeovil...not one that is always remembered or spectacular, but just picks up a loose ball, shimmys two defenders out the way without really breaking stride and slots in past the keeper....as I said class...you can't train that.

My favourite Freddy goal is the one against Blackpool when he cuts in side on the edge of the 18 yard box takes on 4 players shapes up to shoot into the top left and places it calmly into the bottom right. If Messi did that everyone would have gone mad about it world wide.

Thats mine too.

It was like the ball was on a piece of elastic attached to his foot. Also love the goal against Hartlepool from almost the corner flag.
