Freddy Adu

sufc_dave

Manager
Freddy Adu - 25 years old and now a nightclub promoter after failing to find a club according to BBC Sport.

Overrated or did he have too much pressure on his shoulders at such a young age?

USA are desperate for a "superstar" player to come in and give the game a boost over there.

Overrated. At the height of his "fame" Manchester United sent him home three days into a two-week trial because he nowhere near the standard required.

There's always been a question mark over his real age though hasn't there. Would certainly explain the complete lack of improvement and development.

He was always immense on Football Manager as you got deeper into a saved game.
Clearly he had the researchers hoodwinked and they gave him a high "potential ability" rating.

Overrated and too much pressure on his shoulders. Much like members of the England national team over the last few years.
