Not sure if anybody has posted this yet or cares but I like Four Four Two magazine and I think they know their stuff. They can often be very wrong or very right with their predictions which they make in the August edition every year. Let's hope this year they're spot on...Southend United 1st

They may know their stuff, but predicting this league is a lottery.

Who did they predict last season?

I seem to remember them predicting Portsmouth last season, as you say, this league is such a lottery it's impossible to predict

Michael Kightly (Burnley), Alan McCormack (Brentford), Ben Reeves (MK Dons), Jakub Sokolik (Yeovil), Chris Barker (Aldershot), Richie Foran (Inverness), Steve Hammell (Motherwell) are all highlighted as 'key players' for their teams

There is little between League 1 and League 2 compared to some of the other jumps e.g. League 1 to championship and champ to prem. In my opinion.

I love fourfourtwo, its a great magazine and the season preview is one that I look forward to. It was nice to read a top finish predicition for Southend but as they print every year, its extremely difficult to predict the leagues. I think I predicted all four leagues a couple of seasons ago and got 5 teams right!

One another note, I'd recommend the magazine 'when saturday comes'. Excellent articles of football on a variety of topics and slightly cheaper that fourfourtwo.
