Football Manager Latest Patch

The latest patch emcompassing the January window is now availible for download at footballmanager.net.

But can someone tell me how to install it?

EDIT - There's been some mishaps on the SI forums, so just to let you know, it should be around 83-88 meg.

That's it, couldn't remember the exact figure. Don't suppose you've got a clue how to install it, do you? I usually go on the editor and sort it out.

It is the properly updated one right? SI released a new one after last week's release as Beckham was to join Adelaide Galaxy rather than LA Galaxy :hilarious:

Cant remember how to install it, I thought normally you unzip the file and then it's like a normal setup software?

Can't tell if it's the "right" one as you call it, but surely it's an easy job to sort on the editor?


Just unzipped it and it came up with something about "installing" stuff - Is it sorted now?

Um, not too sure, I suppose you could always load up the game and see if it's an option when you start the new game?

It is an easy job to edit, yeah, it's just many folk are lazy and cant be bothered to change Beckham's transfer to the right version.

When you have downloaded, unzip the file which it does auto when you open the file, when that is done, a new window will come up, when it has finished updating all 359 files it should be done.

Then go into Football Manager and start and new game, that way you can see if it works

Yep - All sorted now. Absolutely brilliant it is too.

And no, Beckham isn't going off to the US after season 1.

Good news is, it's included the Farm move. 1st of the 1st 2009.

Oh, and we've got 300k to blow too.
