Flavs earns us points and Collis costs us!

Darryl's Love Child
Just seen the Gills goal on Blues world and got to say it was yet another ball into the 6 yard box thay Collis has failed to anticipate. These errors are beginning to add up and it is now time to put the proper keeper back in. Amazing how being 6ft 6ins fools people in to thinking that you are a big dominant keeper when the exact opposite is the truth. It is now so obvious why he has been a no.2 cat for so long before at other clubs and his recent performances for us have been totally unconvincing!

unless he gets injured or sent off collis should remain in goal as far as im concerned and collis is a good keeper

not seen the goal or spoke to anyone that went yet but on the radio it seemed there goal was down to our defence and not collis

if collis had been in goal during the last part of last years championship season instead of falv i beleive we would still be there instead of being
down in league 1

Tho i agree with the fact Collis should stay in goal untill he really fcuks up,

As a keeper myself, i find myself watching him alot more then some of the game, and iv noticed that what ever side the ball is on he seems to drift over to his near post instead of being centre of his goal so he has both sides covered, then the ball is wiped in and leaves the goal wide open, and if it wasnt for the fact that many teams cant finish we been let off,

Am no pro but find myself playing better from the centre of the goal

Don't you go to games, have a look at the bad positioning for the Oldham one as well!

i was there on boxing day and have seen there goal many times on the tv and Collis is clearly unsighted by Facey and Clarke and with that compounded with it being whipped in at a great speed coming through clarkes legs where there may have been a deflection how can you pin the blame on Collis.

I have been on this site a couple of years and have no idea who Wiggy is but have a sneaking suspicion that it is in fact Darryl Flahavan or his Mum!

Wiggie....she was being funny.......why do you always have to get out your pram

Clueless???? Look closer to home!!!!

Not getting out of my pram, just can't believe that most of you can't see that his bad positioning is worse than Leon Clarke missing a hatful. Only glaring errors ala Scott Carson are noticed by most of these people. Our bloke is costing us by being non commital and as the part time keeper above acknowledges he is standing in the wrong place whilst having a kip!

He seems to use the old unsighted routine quite often, is this maybe because he isn't putting himself in the right place due to being half asleep, and then the hands always go up as though it is someone elses fault!

So most of us are wrong????

You ever stopped and thought that maybe it is you that is wrong and not ALL of us??

isnt his positioning and when he comes for a cross also part down to the goal keeping coach lol

and dont call me a silly little girl

Where do you suggest he stands then if you have two men directly infront of him maybe the penalty spot so he can see but leaves the goal open hmm yeah that makes sense :thump:

Yes, as dedicated as Lee Turner is i sometimes wonder why he doesn't improve the keepers on there weaknesses, Flavs on crosses and Collis on everything except penalty stops!

But she aint wrong tho his positioning is bad, alot of you (and your one of them) seem to watch the game(s) though rose tinted glasses, and cant and wont say a bad word about anything in blue
