FLAGS!

SUBBlue

Manager
As I sit in the South upper I can't see if Flags are ever hung from the top balcony over the hoardings.

I know the stewards used to make the 'offenders' remove them as they covered precious advertising boards but how about nowadays?

Anyone know, as I don't want to waste my time taking one to the Match on Friday for nothing?

Hope not as my little girl likes to take her flags and hang them down.

From my experience they're generally ok with them, so long as they dont obscure the 'view' in the south lower

Note to RM: Ensure that the New Stadium has room for both Advertising Boards and supporter's flags.

Our last game v Bristol City should be a 'flag day' for both flags for hanging over the South Upper and the waving on a stick type. I think the local traders who make/sell the flags for the play-off games etc. will be bringing out special promotion/championship flags.
I notice flags on sticks are actually 'banned' from Roots Hall, but as the club give them away on family days etc it should be o.k. to take them in.

Swansea has plenty of room for hanging flags up as well.
