Huddersfield match originally scheduled for Tuesday 4th December at RH pushed back to Wednesday 5th, as Essex Police are concerned about Col U playing at home on the Tuesday night too.

Match at hom to Brizzle Rovers on New Year's Day made 1pm k/o rather than 3pm.

Away match at Cheltenham on Saturday, March 1st changed to Friday evening, Feb 29th.

Cheltenham Carling Cup game confirmed for Tuesday, August 14th, 7.45pm.

Between us there will surely be less than 2000 away fans, hardly going to put a strain on Essex...

Thats ridiculous.
 
Why are Essex police concerned about two games in Essex on the same night? I wouldn't have thought that there would be a baying mob of Huddersfield fans coming down, and Col Ewe are playing at home to those well know hooligans from Watford. Seems a strange one.

Prefer New Years Day games to kick off at 3pm to allow for drying out time for the drive from Chelmsford to Southend, so that is irritating for me.

Just quoting what I heard, but I agree, it doesn't make sense. Col U are only playing Watford that evening. Surely we've played on the same evening as Col U in the past before, so why change things now?
 
Anyone know why the Cheltenham game has been moved? Perhaps the National Hunt festival starts the next day? I feel a weekend away coming on!
