with Leicester scoring first last weekend i was pondering to myself the number of times the blues seem to nearly always go one goal down in most games... i seem to remember this throughout the last 2 seasons too...

I have no statisitics to prove this just a hunch

any statos that have this infor care to share and therefore begin the debate if proven why this is the case?!

Near the bottom are the occurrence stats where it appears we rank 18th based on going behind 20 times this season and having come back to win only 1 & draw 5.

Click on the Opp Scores First link & you'll se why we need to score 1st against Leeds. They've gone behind 22 times this season & lost 21 from that position with 1 draw!

Thats just your perception being affected by this season and playing tricks on you.

In a season where we are bottom of the league then of course theres going to be lots of occassions of the opposition scoring first.

However if you look back over the two promotion seasons you will find that stat drops pretty suddenly.

The year before last (and I believe a lot of last year) we actually had a very good record of getting the first goal and then converting it in to a win. We've never been very good at overturning deficits under Tilson though.

I'm sure that last season we only lost 1 game after having taken the lead, which was at M.K.Dons a year ago this month with a sub zero wind blasting us from Antartica.
