Financial Impact of Wembley Run

I can’t find concrete information anywhere, but any idea on what monies we’ll receive from making the playoff final (regardless of result)?

With 40-50k fans at £40 each, that’d be up to £2m in gate receipts. Is that split between the clubs, or pooled into league?

I’ve seen some reference to 25% to each club plus 50% into the league to be divvied out…but that’s seemingly and EFL rule.

Do we get any of the ticket receipts for the two playoff game already played? That, in combination with the RHLive and hopefully a decent six figure sum from the final, should be a good boost to the coffers

Id assumed it was a 50\50 split after whatever the fa deemed to be the expenses of putting on the game, which wil! Include the stadium and security and attendants etc. I hope it is.
Hear the club's done quite well out of the screenings. Those and the final weren't in any budgeting so will be a huge boost.
What kind of money are we talking about?

Clearly there a lot of deductions and creaming off but you'd hope it would still be a fairly chunky, unexpected bonus for each club
Actually, point 8.4 "distibuted to Full Member Clubs" does that mean all 24 teams in the NL, or worse still NLN/NLS?

I seem to remember in the EFL, that the final gate got shared with all 4 playoff teams. Could be wrong.

I always thought that Wembley took a big chunk of any Final matches monies. If so, the amount left, after all deductions, would be greatly reduced to the two teams left in the competition.

Back in 2015 the total profit from both semis home and away were put in pot and divided equally between the 4 clubs regardless of home support. The Tv coverage including the final was already part of the package to all 24 clubs. According to staff at the time did not make as much as some assumed. Of course you have to add the Ron factor back then.

Don't know about the NL ten years later but it does read as abetter deal than last time. I'm sure someone like Tom will confirm how it works in the near future.

It's really easy for people to just buy the scarf / flags etc from the match day get rich quick artists on the day .Really hope people this time will make the extra effort to buy off the club /shop if possible. The supporters can really help the clubs recovery and finances on this one

Aye, just bought a few bits on there myself.
