Just for fun, what's your top 7?

1 Swindon 99points
2 Cheltenham 90points
3 Southend 80 points

4 Shrewsbury 78 points
5 Torquay 74 points
6 Port Vale 72 points
7 Crawley 72 points

Oxford just to miss out :) Hopefully lol

Can see it looking something like this

1. Swindon
2. Crawley
3. Southend
----------------
4. Shrewsbury
5. Cheltenham (can see shrewsbury and cheltenham having a slip up soon)
6. Torquay
7. Oxford/Port Vale

I'm laughing too as 9 points is clearly not a wide enough gap.

1. Swindon
2. Shrewsbury
3. Cheltenham

4. Crawley
5. Oxford
6, 7 and 8 - Torquay, Southend and Port Vale in any order (probably goal difference)

Reckon Flood will score 20 goals from now till the end of the season and we will nick the championship on the last day. Ron will be carried round on a throne after the final whistle whilst Kane, Hall and Dicko roast a bluebelle in the centre circle.

I agree with all that apart from one small detail you failed to observe. Barry Corr will make a substitute appearance, on crutches, for our final game and will score the winning goal, with his head, five minutes from time. Don't understand how you failed to mention that!

Well if this was :net: from the Swindon fan to get us to confirm their title then its worked splendidly

for me ...

1 Swindon
2 Shrewsbury
3 Crawley ... they've had 26 shots on target last 2 games and scored only 2 goals, someone will get a proper pasting from them soon, just hope it aint next Monday

Play offs from .. Torquay, Cheltenham, Oxford, Southend, Gills (perm 4 from 5)

I just can't see us going on any sort of run again this season. Think we'll finish 1 or 2 places outside the playoff's and PS to not be in charge next season.

Oh to be a shrimpers fan!

Theres negativity and then theres this. We are a shoe in for the playoffs. Its the top 3 we will struggle to make.

Swindon and Cheltenham will take two spots, its whether Shewsbury can continue their good run.

Crawley have only won twice in ten games or so and although have games in hand dont seem to be winning any and still have to play Torquay and then come to us.

Personally havent seen anything since December to suggest we will regain the form needed to get back into the top 3 sadly.

If that happened, we might, just might stand a chance of beating Torquay, depending on our form. Gernerally though, the team that drops out of the top 3 late on, tends to lose momentum and fail in the play offs. Hopefully we'll be the exception to the rule. Those late 4 points lost at Plymouth and at home to Daggers will cost us big time I reckon.

:hilarious: You will regret that! I said all was coming off the rails in December and was ridiculed. Those chickens have come home to roost big-style. We are now in real difficulty to get to the play-off's. Oxford are 7th and have a game in hand. Win that game and then the inevitable defeat at the Kassam will see them within 2 points. Port Vale will be within 5 points if they win their games in hand, starting tonight against Crewe. I said above 6th-8th is up for grabs, and we may just get there, but it will be extraordinarly tight. However, had Sturrock been removed from his post when he should have been before Christmas we would probably have been in a much better position than we find ourselves in.

even with our current poor form, 5 or 6 more wins is do-able. We have 7 home games left and a couple of easier looking away games (Hereford, Bradford), so I think something around 76-78 points. I suspect that puts us outside the top 3. I'll go for 5th.
My prediction: Swindon will win it by a street, then Shrewsbury, then between The Tax Dodgers Cheats or Cheltenham for the 3rd promotion slot. Could yet come down to goal difference.
