FC Week 12

Napster

No ⭐
Welcome to hello CG for the match between hello and Napster's XI.

We can tell you that hello won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking a touch on the green side. All the seam bowlers have been out there rubbing their hands on this partially cloudy and humid day.

Let's join our team for ball-by-ball commentary.

0.3 nb. Nguyen-lee to Watkins
Excellent technique there, except Watkins has missed the ball.
0.2 W Nguyen-lee to Dobinson
Give me an 'L'! Give me a 'B'! Give me a 'W'! What does that spell? LBW! He's out!
0.1 . Nguyen-lee to Dobinson
If you want to show youngsters the perfect way to play a defensive shot then that's a fine example!

Great start

Welcome to Molyneux CG for the match between Beyond Heresy and Big Dog Sloggers.

We can tell you that Big Dog Sloggers won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking a touch on the green side. All the seam bowlers have been out there rubbing their hands on this sunny day.

Thoroughly expecting a defeat, lost by an innings in the first match with these guys.

Amazing start from Mrs BB's bowlers

End of Over 2 (Maiden). Tommy_B's Allstar XI: 0-5, runrate=0.00
Bowler 1-1-0-2
Staton* 0 (0 balls)
Vincent 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Van-geersdaele c. Mohammed b. Bowler 0 (FOW: 0/5)

Playing dons sas, who are 2nd in my division. They beat me by 268 runs last time out, but I was only 2 overs away from securing a draw. Their fitness doesn't look that hot today and they've gone for a dusty track which is going to suit Cairns and Awan, so i've got a chance of getting something. They have to start favourites though, they're 2nd on merit behind a very good team that dropped down from IV.

we're batting, and it's low-scoring so far.

End of Over 6 (Maiden). Pettefershire CCC: 9-0, runrate=1.50
Bramble 3-1-6-0
Latham* 6 (11 balls)
Thornley 2 (26 balls)

End of Over 11 (4 runs). Big Dog Sloggers: 48-1, runrate=4.36
Mullins 6-0-26-0
Mapes* 14 (32 balls)
Kirkland 0 (0 balls)

Well I've surpassed my last effort when I played this lot by getting a wicket, albeit a run out!

Holding off their openers reasonably well but it's another dusty track and their spinners are waiting.

End of Over 12 (3 runs). ShrimperZone CC: 36-1, runrate=3.00
Devaney 6-2-15-1
Lamey* 18 (48 balls)
Askew 4 (22 balls)

Last Wicket: Sandile b. Devaney 0 (FOW: 6/1)

Oh and Plummer took another wicket for Windies today taking his total to 5! One match left tomorrow and then I can start using him again.

BATTY SHRIMPERS v Hungryasthesea

We can tell you that BATTY SHRIMPERS won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking quite cracked! A field day for the seam bowlers I would reckon on this sunny day.

End of Over 10 (7 runs). Hungryasthesea: 32-0, runrate=3.20
Petty 5-0-22-0
Huckerby* 12 (24 balls)
Maccallum 19 (36 balls)

Playing a few of the better players today, including Evelyn and O'connor, as we up against the team in 2nd, and I don't want to take any chances.

We can tell you that Tommy_B's Allstar XI won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking a touch on the green side. All the seam bowlers have been out there rubbing their hands on this partially cloudy and humid day.

Mrs BB, picked most of her bowlers but gave Potter a rest. Oppo has thrown the game :)

End of Over 12 (Maiden). Tommy_B's Allstar XI: 6-7, runrate=0.50
Bowler 6-4-4-2
Hansen* 0 (11 balls)
Vincent 4 (29 balls)

Last Wicket: Blackman b. Mohammed 0 (FOW: 2/7)

Lazarus 1-0-3-0
Kirkland* 26 (26 balls)
Bates 9 (14 balls)

Last Wicket: Mapes b. Mabuso 25 (FOW: 71/2)

If i manage to break through either one of these two they're nothing special...that's a big if though!

ITS A RUN RIOT

End of Over 20 (8 runs, 2b). Geoff_Boycotts_Grandmother XI: 38-6, runrate=1.90
Patel 10-5-22-3
Ramsden* 12 (33 balls)
Mcintosh 8 (8 balls)
Last Wicket: Montgomery lbw b. Patel 10 (FOW: 28/6)
19.6 b2 Patel to Mcintosh
Poor keeping. Two easy runs are stolen as the ball is spilled out towards long leg.
19.5 . Patel to Mcintosh
Flicked around to Briers at fine leg.
19.4 . Patel to Mcintosh
Mcintosh is looking at his bat like it has a hole in it - that last delivery went straight through him!
19.3 4 Patel to Mcintosh
Driven beautifully down the ground for four.
19.2 . Patel to Mcintosh
Drifting away from Mcintosh and through to the keeper.
19.1 4 Patel to Mcintosh
With a flick of the wrists worthy of the sub-continent, Mcintosh finds the gap for four.

painfully slow here, and Big Ben has departed early.

End of Over 21 (1 runs). Pettefershire CCC: 37-1, runrate=1.76
Hangana 4-1-9-0
Daniel* 4 (31 balls)

Prasad 2-0-3-0
Maccallum* 32 (69 balls)
Kesterton 33 (31 balls)

End of Over 21 (7 runs). Tommy_B's Allstar XI: 22-8, runrate=1.05
Karel 2-1-7-0
Vincent* 10 (55 balls)
Lundon 6 (19 balls)

Last Wicket: Hansen c. Leigh b. Mohammed 4 (FOW: 10/8)

Handy knock from Lamo as he is on lively fitness and was up against much better bowlers.

Middleton 3-2-1-1
Cunningham* 2 (8 balls)
Askew 13 (58 balls)

struggling. on the plus side, the weather conditions are set to be the same all game, so it's not going to be any easier for their bats.
