Come on then, let's have it.

Mine's his third away at Bristol City in the 3-0 win. Utter class.

Blackpool away 02/01/06, clinched a late awayday win for us (& sent us back to the top of L1 IIRC). The way he looked up just before he shot to fool the keeper was amazing, plus the way he came to celebrate with us was great too!

As in terms of Mental ones or as in terms of the class of em.

Ill go for the winner against Chesterfield for having a mental one.

For class id have to agree with the 3rd one against Bristol from where we was sitting it looked class. The equailser against Barnsley was a differnet class to.

So many to choose from but ill stick with these for now.

Another vote for his 3rd at Bristol City

FWIW I think this should've been done as a poll

Trouble with picking a favourite Freddy goal is there are so many to choose from...

From a 'going mental' point of view it'd have to be his opener against Lincoln City at the Milstad which put us 1-0 up.

For sheer quality, I'd go for his 30-yarder against Brizzle City. What a strike that was!

yep... i was there and it was amazing.

for sheer skill and unbelievability it has to be the hartlepool at home 2005-2006 from the corner flag

Away at Chesterfield season before last. I bought his goal minutes on a spreadbet and that goal, (somewhere around 85th minute I think) added another 85 quid to my winnings and got us a valuable 3 points

I'll say it again, That strike against Bristol City.

30 Yards out, hit with his right foot swerving away into the left hand corner of the goal. Keeper had no chance, was hit with such venom and accuracy I don't think any Keeper had a chance of getting a hand on it. Had the whole of Ashton Gate on it's feet applauding. What made it even better was the Southend Contingent on that day was right behind it, and saw every movement the ball made in the air.

Top Class.

The equaliser at Barnsley in the 2-2 draw, how he scored from that position with seemingly no space I'll never know.

The third at Bristol was one of my favourites but for pure "mentalness", it has to be "that" free-kick against Man U, making us the only team in the league with a 100% record against them.

It is that goal that will stay with me forever.

The play-off final for pure relief, the Man U free kick for obvious reasons, and his goal against Norwich at the Hall last season for pure class.

Man Utd for me.

Thats one goal that will live in the memory for ever.

Thing with Freddy is 90% of his goals were amazing and we have been spoilt, next season could be dire in the quality we get. Hopefully we will get far more tap ins, and now Maher can score from 20 yards we can rely on him for the blinders. Perhaps.

best goals were bristol city, barnsley and man u. all quality. but the best goals for the moment were the play offs, chesterfield and swansea at the end of the season. will never forget them going in and going absolutly mental

Another vote for Hartlepool at home.

Out by the touch line, managed the bend it in with his left foot. Genius.

Special mentions to play off final, Vs Man Utd, 3rd Vs Bristol City, everyother goal. I'm gonna miss him.

My favourite would be the winner at Chesterfield - I think that'd the win that really made everyone think we can win the league.

The best goal is a toss up between Bristol City away, Blackpool away and Blackpool at home. I think I'd go for Blackpool at home.

Maybe not my favourite but one that really sticks in my mind is the third on his debut against Swansea. I remember watching him set himself up and I was willing him to get a hat-trick. It wasn't a special goal technically but I knew we had some real class on our hands... and the rest is history!

2nd at Swansea was sheer class but for me it was Oxford at home. Beat four men and slammed it in the top corner.
