As it moves to Interweb only, how did you rate the "young adult" channel. It gave us Gavin & Stacey and the peerless Monkey Dust, but also such bilge as Snog, Marry, Avoid. So a loss or do you not care?

I only watched Torchwood and Being Human on it, most of the time it was prertty *****.

But at least that godawful disgrace of a comedy Family Guy is off my TV screen.

I didn't massively watch it but it served a purpose and the BBC should produce enough different types of stations and outputs that it doesn't appeal to everybody. I'm bitterly opposed to the cuts put on the BBC by the Government and this is a very visual indication of those cuts.

But then on the other hand I don't pay for a UK TV License. Here there's a license fee for RTE, which has adverts anyway, is **** and which imports most of its shows from the BBC anyway.

Loved The Boosh, loved Gavin and Stacey, loved Pulling.

Seems there was a lot of dross on the channel too, but it's a shame to see it dropping off 'normal' TV.

As Beefy says, it's indicative of the swingeing cuts to the BBC, which in general isn't a good thing.

Every time I flick through the channels BBC 3 is showing Don't Tell the Bride. Is that rubbish all it shows?

Like you say the Boosh was BBC 3 and I'm pretty sure 15 storeys high was? Anyway all it takes is a couple of gems to make it worthwhile.

Anyway it's not gone just internet only and most have a smart TV these days.

And Family Guy.

Actually, the channel was also used as an occasional outlet for sport - e.g. women's World Cup matches, or even the men's World Cup, when two games were on at the same time in the group stages. Of course, I'm sure they can find another home for them, although I understand the red button is going to be used a lot less now

****'S SAKE!

That ****ing Moron McFarlane has done ONE GOOD THING in his entire career, and that was the voice of the German fish thing in Hellboy 2! Hate that stupid little **** - he's the American Ricky Gervais. And I hate him, too.

Its always good to read your very humble opinion.
Cuckoo was good as was the detecterists, damn im a great speller.

I was, fully agree. Less Family ***** and the moron who came up with that wedding show needs shooting. More stuff like Being Human please. Haven't looked into the newThirteen drama yet but I might...
