Yep. All of a rush. Buyer wanted to move in asap and, after waiting for so long, who are we to argue! So, we're packing like mad and will be moving out to North Fambridge this Friday coming, going out to Spain next Monday for three days (recce trip) before moving out for good on or about the 9th / 10th December.

Will try and arrange something soonest; Benfleet OK for you?

Well Benfleet is bloody wonderful for me considering I live there but I would have thought The Spread Eagle would be on the menu just for old times sake.

I would reconmend The Hoy & Helmet or The Half Crown in Benfleet but as its your going away **** up, its down to you. Let me know soon as.

The problem is that I won't be living in Southend after tomorrow; we had an impromptu ****-up in The Spread last Saturday (from 8am until 11pm). But I am planning to drop into Benfleet to have a pint with Scriv and another mate who lives down by the Hoy ... I have your mobile number. If I can get it fixed up in time, I'll drop you a line .....
