FAO: The Lincoln Fans

BoyWonder2

2024, the year of the Shrimpers ⭐🦐
It has yet to have been mentioned by anybody yet so I thought I'd do it first.

Your fans are a credit to the football league. It was fantastic to see some of you guys appluading our players at the end. We know what it feels like to see another team picking up the silverware we all dreamed we would win and its heartbreaking, it truly is. But very done every single one of you that stayed and even the ones that didn't. I didn't get to meet as many Lincoln fans as I did Wrexham but what a great bunch. No trouble at all.

A lot of people, myself included, label you a long ball side which is a fair assement when you first look but today, at times, you got the ball on the deck and used it well. Your players have the ability on the ball to knock it about and cause teams problems, its hard to understand why you continuously (sorry about the spelling) knock it long. Have faith guys. Your not a bad side. Good luck next season, even though your managers a ****

Again, well done.

Well said. What a fantastic atmosphere it was all day with not a hint of trouble before, during or after the match - something that's only possible with 2 great sets of supporters.

Agreed, had some good chats with the Lincoln bunch today, a great set of fans.

And as you said when Lincoln actually kept it on the deck they looked much better than when they just lump it forward and hope for a corner/long throw.

But wasn't it good to ram their managers early season comments down his throat.

Well done to the lincoln fans i too had a chat with a few of them very nice bunch.Well done also to the linclon fan who got on our bus going back to the purple car park he got a bit of stick but kept his cool.
