Manager⭐🦐
We've been a little quiet of late concentrating on building connections with the new regime at Roots Hall while keeping our collection points in the Ticket office, Blue Boar, Railway, and Spread Eagle ticking over.
We are pleased to say that we have been able to build a really good relationship with COSU and Justin Rees has been very supportive and our grateful thanks for such positive engagement.
Anyway, down to the main business of this post.
The Club have granted us permission for this Saturday's game against Hartlepool as a dedicated Southend Foodbank Collection Day around the ground. So we will have a gazebo up near the ticket office with physical donation collection points open at all our regular points plus at the main car park entrance and the Shakespeare Drive entrance to the West/South. There will also be bucket collections if you prefer to give cash and there will be card readers at both Main car park and Shakespeare Drive if you prefer cashless.
We have some special appearances for some of our younger fans as well:-
12.45 - 1pm Sammy the Shrimp, big red gazebo in East carpark near Blues Box Office.
1.30pm The Grinch. Starting from the foodbank gazebo but roaming, weather permitting as Grinch fur doesn't mix with the wet stuff!. Will be up for photos in exchange for donations physical or otherwise.
See the attachments for the items most needed and more details.
Hope to see you all on the day and thanks for all your ongoing support.
