Lets say for example Watford and Millwall go out 3rd round and somehow we make the 4th if Britt and Makaindkakakaindadina are not used can they then play for us if their respective clubs allow it?

Also you have the chance we will get a top prem team would their clubs deny them the chance to take on top quality opposition in 3rd round?

If that were the case I am sure they would both be given permission to play, there would be no reason not to.

On another note, as Laird played yesterday, I guess that means we will be signing him come Jan, which IMO would be a very good signing.

I believe if they say no then they cannot play at anytime, I might be wrong though

They are only cup-tied if they take part with another team. Clubs can change their mind about allowing a non-cup-tied player to play for their temporary club.

Heard a great story relating to Sir Stanley Collymore when he was a young player in Palace reserves - no idea if true or urban myth , but good story anyway.
It was just before kick off in a reserve game and the Manager was trying to gee up the team.
"Come on lads , this is the third round of the F.A.Cup and if we win this , it's Man Utd ( or someone big ) in the next round , so lets dig in and win this one".
Stanley says "Sorry boss , I didn't realise this was the F.A.Cup , but I played for ( so and so non League team ) on loan in an earlier round , so think I'm cup tied".
So want it to be a true story..............................

If we renew to the end of the season then they'll be allowed to play in the cup regardless of how their parent club do.

Britt has a tough choice on this front (to the extent it's his choice at all). Go back for the off-chance of a one-off run-out at Man City and almost certainly lose in the 3rd round, or stick at RH for a potentially winnable 3rd round tie?

If he stays at RH in Jan, then if our cup run goes on longer than Watford he may yet get a cup runout with us. I would imagine that until and unless Watford go out, they won't let him play in the cup for us, irrespective of whether his loan deal is until the end of the season - they could still recall him at any point.
