Extra Time

bluearmy

Youth Team
Apologies if this has been discussed in another forum, but I noticed on Sunday that the two teams did not swap ends for extra time.

Anyone know if this is regular procedure? I am sure you have to swap ends at the end of normal time???

And...if that's the case, can we appeal??

And reverse the result?

Here's hoping.

Two captains toss up again before extra time.

Sorry.

Quote[/b] (Prodigal Son @ April 13 2005,15:07)]What was the logic of attacking the end where your own fans are in the first half? I thought that was unusual.
Maybe, Maher won the toss and was superstitious over the "ends" we attacked at last year's final and felt a change might reverse our fortunes !

The original toss appeared to have been won by Wrexham and they switched as the sun was in the Keepers eyes for the 1st half. By the 2nd half the sun had drifted.

The pre match toss was indeed won by wrexham as the losers, ie us, kick off. Didn't see who kicked off the first period of extra time, but again they would have lost the toss.
