Despite the result can i just say how wonderful it was to see so many Southenders there today.

Got there eventually after a car park attendant sent us the wrong way. Had to meet a mate who was getting the train in from Birmingham - he's first train was cancelled and then the onethat he was one was delayed - he got in at 2.45pm!! panic!! asked a car park attendant the quickest way to the away end - he sent all the way round the back - took bout 25 mins to get there! arrived ten minutes late and all we could hear when we was walking towards the ground was oooos and aaaaaaaaaaaaaas and screams!! - worse thing in the world!! Eventually got in though bout ten past.

But it was a great turnout - especially when I arrivd nd was like wooooooo! where did everyone come from!

Well I wont be going because everytime I have been we manage to lose. Oh you mean you have not been before - god you glory hunters are all a like.

I remember one time being there with about a hundred others and Ali Moyet was in front of me. I had been staying in Brum for the weekend to see some girls I had met on hols in Malta, well what better excuse to see them and take in away day. Anyway I took one of them to the match, we lost 5-0 that day but luckily the girl was so in awe that Ali was 2 foot in front of her she did not complain that I was so p%&sed off during the game and for the journey back to Brum.
