Ex-Shrimpers not returning to haunt the club

We've all seen a **** ex-player come back and haunt us with the type of performance they rarely managed when in a Southend shirt - Graeme Jones for example tore us apart when he returned in a Boston shirt, Leon Constantine and Husbands both scored when Vale beat us last season, Mark Rawle managed an apologetic winner for Darlo or some other similarly northern club and Andy Harris never once gifted us a needless penalty - but what ex-players have come back and had a 'mare against us?

Roycie's supreme effort in the QPR game seems a rare example.

Stan ensured he was "injured" against us.

Local boy Neil Harris missed a sitter for the Gills, but he never played for us.

Any other examples of someone not wanting to do well against us?

How many players have left us on amicable terms in recent years...? They've all either been dumped by us and have tumbled into the lower / non-leagues (the majority); or, on the rare occasion, they have moved to a club at least as good as ours, if not better.

Hmm... Leon Johnson didn't play that well for the Gills against us last season. Can't remember Barry Conlon ever having a stormer against us either.

But to add to the players who have done well against us:

Cort - scored for both Palace & Hull against us, hasn't he?
Rammell - sure he has scored against us when at Walsall?
Carruthers - did well against us for Scunny...

Will try to think of some others...

Naps, what game are you thinking of, and was it worse than he played for us?

Mts - was it Oxford, well er, its still the wrong side of Watford.

Notice our old fans favourite in goal for Oxford Andy Woodman what a legend he was! I loved him.

Didn't Andy Harris give us an abolute gift a few years back (Chester ??) when he hacked a last minute clearance from wide right across the face of the goal for Dudders to net a late winner ?

Stan Collymore was unable to play at RH very early in his forest career due to "a throat infection" the word was then that he didn't want to play against us.

Our biggest bogey player of all time must be Lee Nogan, he had two loan spells with us and looked mediocre, yet scored against us playing for Reading, Oxford, Watford, York and maybe another club or two!

I remember Daniel Webb being pretty hopeless against us for Cambridge, then again that's only to be expected from him...
