Ex-Shrimpers last night

Hong Kong Blue

Guest
Busy night for our ex-Shrimpers.

In the third division:

Matt Lockwood scored a hattrick as Orient came from 3-0 down - Mark Bentley scored Gills first (his second(?) of the season) and Duncan Jupp also played.

Wayne "the new Pele" Gray scored for Yeovil.

Michael Husbands scored after Leon Constantine hit the post in Port Vale's 1-1 draw, only to later get sent off for a stamp. After his great start to the season Constantine appears to have scored one goal in the last 8.

In the 4th division:

Tommy Mooney scored a last minute equaliser. Jason Lee got booked (I'm guessing for elbows) and talking of elbows: Drewe Broughton was subbed at half-time with his Chester team losing 1-0. Chester minus Broughton seemed to do a lot better and drew 1-1.

Meanwhile 2 current Shrimpers were both subs. Lawson didn't get on in a 4-1 defeat whilst Mitchell Cole was dropped but came on with the score 1-0 in Northampton's 2-0 win.

Not saying you are but you do know Northampton are L1 now?
Therefore the Mitchell Cole bit should maybe have gone for the Div4 update?

Was more concerned about being accused of calling them ex-Shrimpers but couldn't be bothered to type "and back in the third division" so just separated the paragraphs with a couple more hits of the return button. Explaining that has now taken more time than had I typed it in the first place.
