what is wrong with everybody on this board!stop being so critical and give the management and players a chance! a chance means more than four matches by the way! its f**kin pathetic, just because most of us were really optomistic before the season (myself included) and the team havnt lived up to our expectations in four games doesnt mean its the end of the world!lets just see where we are in 15-20 games then we will be getting a clearer picture!

lets get behind the boys tomorrow night, possibly help roar them to a remarkable victory, and hope that it might, just might, kickstart our season!

Definitely agree,

Individuals ( including myself ) who leave comments on this site are at the moment falling predictably into a pattern of 2 types of people and comment.
There are those that slag the team off and are immediately pessimistic, and then those others who then add positive input to counteract this.
This dual opinion is obviously good but at such an early stage in the season surely there are more wider issues than 'we're so crap' or 'lets not get at the boys' etc.

Time to look at the massive bigger picture i reckon.

Positives and negatives will balance themselves out and generally, airing your concerns is a good thing... personally, most of the debates on here are pretty good [and when they aren't, you can just ignore them of course!], with just the odd individual running a more contraversial line to "try" and get a bite!.

FWIW, I was full of optimism against Cheltenham! but, I have never been totally surprised with Southend's performances... remembering the heady days in the first division, when we would be hammered by Grimsby one week and then we would soundly beat Bolton or Derby County the next!

I am still feeling fairly positive at this stage and suspect we will find our real qualities in the next few matches... where we will be by Xmas, is anyones guess, but you have to remain hopeful it wont be at the bottom end of the table.

Im posotive (kind of) that things will sort themselves out soon.

But to be honest I have no high expectations for tonight!
Im going to get behind the boy's (not in THAT sence) and sing my heart out and generally have a good night!

As for it kick starting our season?

??

God let's hope so!
If we don't get 3 points fairly soon then my morale will be in intensive care!
