Anybody care to help out a poor exile & get me a copy of today's Echo with the 12 page Centenary Supplement in it?

Is the team photo in todays edition?

I noticed the official site has the team wallpaper. Though the fixture list one annoyingly has the dates mingling with my icons... nothing a bit of photoshop can't put right.

My sources tell me the club is fuming with the Echo for going public on the news. Apparently they had been told in advance it was the centenary, but had requested the Echo kept it under wraps so as to not overshadow the club's official announcement of it.

Honestly. every year me and the missus have a ceremony where we replace the Echo team photo in one of those big glass picture frame things. We've got years of 'em.

This is bad news. I hope that geezer at benfleet station has kept some back, i'm sure he'll gloat being as he's a Canvey supporter.

If anyones got yesterdays echo can they pm me or reply with the Photo ID number, perhaps I can buy one a nice A3 sized print from them.
Bit much asking the club to do one as they're busy doing the DVD *ahem*

Lucked out on the squad photo as the last couple of years I'd known in advance, bought yesterdays echo on the off chance

One thing about the squad photo...arguably our most influential player isnt in the photo (well for the last 2 years anyway, Eastwood and Goater respectively)

The year Freddy signed he wasnt in the squad photo, same (arguably) for Goater

Perhaps it should read 'signing' rather than player (yes, what you said). With us not having a no.9 perhaps the pattern will continue...

I was able to purchase tuesdays Echo complete with team photo from Geezer at benfleet Station

I also bought yesterdays centenary edition and was pleasantly suprised ! well done echo !

I've been browsing through all the southend photos for sale in their sales desk
Which is Here and wonder why the club don't offer some limited edition prints from their photo collection? I've bought a few of the Echos prints and got them signed.

Wonder who picked the Team of the Century though.....Adam Barrett as one of top centre halves.....He may not even be a starter this season! (Good though Barrett has been!).

Also, interestingly, it listed the players of year since 1965 (I think) and we had a run in the late 90's of our top man being Keith Dublin, Julian Hails and Mark Beard...how shocking is that!
