Essex Police have issued an 'All Ports Alert' and have asked everybody to be vigilant and look out for a particular individual, who they believe, is planning to travel to Portugal at some point during the next few days. The individual in question is one of many 'suspected hooligans' to have received a letter from Essex police advising him that he is banned from travelling to Portugal, and that if he is caught attempting to leave the country he will be apprehended and faces a possible ban from all football grounds in the UK. However it has been revealed today that the reason this individual is banned from leaving the country whilst the tournament is in progress is not because they suspect he may be planning on involving himself in large scale disorder, but simply because he is the 'spitting imgae' of the lead singer of the 1990's gay pop band 'Right Said Fred', and that this is not the image that we in the UK wish to portray to the rest of Europe...............strange but true !!!
