Essex FM

Essex FM reported that Tilly et al. had made enquiries/attempted to sign 7 players so far this summer without success.

I am just wondering if someone could list these, because I am becoming confused with rumours and reality!

Jevons possibly, signed for Bristol City a couple of weeks back.
Maybe also Byfield but then again he said we weren't after him.
Can also think maybe we've tried to sign players who've now decided to stay at their clubs e.g. Stephen Purches at Bournemouth

If he has gone for 7 and got 0 from that 7 then things dont bide to well at the moment!

You mean Essex FM have actually acknowledged our existence?

I wouldn't take anything Essex FM has to say about The Club seriously, what they probably meant was we've made offers to 7 players and as yet none have signed.

Not sure if it was Essex FM but my mate was listening to the radio this morning and it said that Tilly was expecting to announce a new signing today.
