England V West Indies 2nd ODI

Right, called in sick for work earlier and am ready to sit on the sofa and watch this all day. England have won the toss and are bowling first. Chanderpaul batting at 3 which makes sense. I wonder how long Chris Gayle will last...

Surely the thread title is wrong... i thought it was England vs Chanderpaul today :thump:

I have a sneaky feeling he'll get a low score today, often happens when a batsman is moved from his favoured position.

No Monty in the England team today. He's been replaced by somebody who's a worse bowler, batsman and fielder than he is - Michael Yardy

What time do these games start?

I yet again missed the start as I assumed it was an 11 start, but when I switched on at about five to they had already started.

ARS - That's very harsh on Yardy who was, other than Goodwin, the county champion's best batsman for the past two seasons.

It started at 10:45, seems early for an ODI, often the midweek ones are floodlit.

I'm only basing my opinion on Yardy from what I've seen in the international arena, he's looked out of his depth. Just looks like a Twenty20 player to me.

That's a fairly random start time.

Anyhow, Gayle out, hit the first ball for 6 of the over, then tried to repeat it. He is an absolute waster.
