They were saying on TV over the weekend that re-sold tickets won't be accepted?

A genuine point about this game...

I know a fella whose dad is very high up in the FA. Not sure what job he does exactly, but if this chap wants tickets to any England game, cup final, etc. his old man can sort it out.

This England v Wales is the first time his dad hasn't been able to get his hands on any comps though. A huge game, in a small stadium, means that even for a senior FA executive, this is a tough one to get tickets for.

I bet the ****ing England Brass Band have managed :'(

Just a word about security. It's been tightened up all round.

For the Primera Sound concert (Brian Wilson) I went to here on Saturday, for the first time ever,I had to show some ID to prove that I was the ticket holder.

France have already said they'll be doing that for the Euros. They certainly didn't back in 98 for the World Cup games there.

Makes sense to me.Should stop ticket touts making money at least.

Loads of England fans have tickets from the FA without names on them.
Also you could by 4 tickets and they all have the same name on them.
There is no way they can match up names with each ticket.
They can ask people for ID when entering the ground but I'm not sure what that will prove.

Logically,if your ID doesn't tally with the name on the ticket, it could be used as grounds for non-admittance.

Funnily enough I've got a few spares for this match. Don't really need the cash, but I what really want in exchange are a couple - 10 or so - signed shirts of ex-Southend United mediocrity. I know it's a long shot, but can anyone help me out?

I have 4 tickets for one match all with my name on, no individual names were asked for when purchased. The rules stated that tickets could be given away or sold at face value to friends or family.
A large number of tickets issued to England fans through the members scheme just have FA England on them and no individual name.

A valid ticket will get you into the ground. There might be ID checks but they will not check the name on the ticket.

No names on tickets were checked tonight at Stade de France and no ID required.
