England last night were 4/9 to win. I had a ton on that, returning £44.44 ish.

Crouchinho was 7/4 anytime scorer. £50 on that as well. Get in. £87.50 ish.

Successful night. Roll on the World Cup.

I had a quid on Japan HT England FT at 25/1 and had a 50p double on that and New Zealand to beat Serbia yesterday at 194/1.

Obviously wish I'd put a tenner on now.

I had £10,000 on England to win 2-1 with Japan scoring two own goals, who'd of thought it! Bahamas here I come!

I also had a cheeky 50 grand on Capello standing up at some point during the game.

Good call, but I'm intrigued what made you have a bet on that one, it seems a pretty random fixture and a random result.

Any tips for the other games today, then?

I don't normally bet on friendlies. I got bored earlier today and did, and lost. Bloody South Korea.

I rarely bet on football. First time in ages. New Zealand looked really good odds at 13/2 though. NZ are a decent side and will surprise a few people at the World Cup. Plus I think France being rubbish made Serbia's qualifying performance look better than it actually was.

Also, I had a feeling it wasn't going to be a great England performance today with an experimental side so the Japan HT England FT looked very tempting at 25/1.
