England Amateur Tournament

Does anyone know whether we will be scouting at the 4 nations tournament down on the south coast?

Last year Brentford picked up DJ Campbell from Yeading and reading the 1st match report (Eng 2 Ireland 0) there were scouts from QPR, Hull and Swansea.

Seems like a good place to see the cream of the non league and maybe spot some talent.

Was going to go with mates last night but we decided a trip to the pub was better than a cold night in Eastboure.

I am meant to be going to England vs Scotland on Saturday so will give a low-down on who is worth a look. b

I was at Eastbourne last night - and it was cold so DtS's choice of the pub was probably wise.

Dennis Oli played well on the right side of midfield - I have seen mention of him on here before and he was better than I expected. Aaron McLean played well up front too but he has a Barrington Belgrave look about him.

One who did catch my eye, in light of our right back's departure, was Simon Travis who I think plays for Hereford.

Thurgood is the captain and didn't have much impact.

I will be at England v Scotland with my 3 year old and, in real anorak fashion, at Ireland v Scotland tomorrow - I may be suggesting some potential players from Inverurie Locos or the like in the next couple of days !
