Question Emergency services discount?

CrippsCorner

Striker
Apologies if this has been discussed before, I haven't come across anything recently.

I've never tried applying for this discount before, however I work for the NHS and see this on the forthcoming tickets part of the website...

*Members of the emergency services can only take advantage of this price with proof of identification.

If I can apply for this, any idea how? I guess I could show a payslip or BLC as proof. I am not able to get to the ticket office before the 10th so need to order York tickets online, and I'm sure previously I never found a way to apply online so gave up lol. More of the family coming to the opening game than usual, but I am paying for all the tickets despite it being my birthday :Dim: so would be grateful for a few quid saved!

Send ticket office a mail, including a picture of your evidence and your online account details. They will tag your account as emergency services.

Do you guys not have a Blue Light card?

Or veterans ID card for those of us that are ex-military.
I have both, but never used either of them. Also have the defence Service Discount card.
