Pedant
Just had a phone call from Mrs FS who is attending a conference in east london and has developed a severe allergic reaction to the surroundings, symptoms include nausea, headache and an overwhelming desire to defaecate.
this appears to have been caused by the Conference suite itself and the predominantly Claret and blue decor and Crossed hammer things dotted around the place.

Yep ...the poor cow has to spend all afternoon at Upton park !!

And they have given her WHU pens and paper

Well at least we havent heard from that muppet Orient inbred East,East,East London for a while. He was a TW@@T!

To be fair, Upton Park is a decent stadium, having been there whilst they were building their newest stand (The Bobby Moore Stand I believe) with the school years back.

I took great pleasure, when playing football in the toilets with my SUFC ball and mates, that one of us (Who will remain nameless) broke one of the lights and done a runner. I carried that SUFC ball round the whole ground. The look on the tour guides face when he saw the ball was priceless.

I'm pretty sure our very own Barry Harris has been to Upton Park conferences wearing his Southend shirt.

she'll come back 'Burberried Up' and claiming she knows the Krays

Quite a nice stadium, shame they haven't finished it yet. And those tacky tower things look awful.

By putting the ball on the deck and knocking it about. Wasn't a match just a kick about because we were supposed to be watching a video whilst eating lunch. The video was the review of the season before for West Ham. Now I aint watching that and nor were some of my other mates (Arsenal, Spurs, Manchester United and Col Ewe supporters) so we ate lunch and played football in the toilets because we weren't allowed on the pitch, and yes we did ask.

i saw an sufc fan wearing a southend shirt at upton park on match of the day last saturday. He was sitting behind the goal when sheringhams free kick hit the bar
