Email just been sent around the whole of my uni!

So got back from lunch to find this email in my "general rubbish inbox"...

Subject: [announce] Apologies for 'Hi...'
Dear colleague

If you had not guessed, the broadcast of the message entitled 'Hi...' was a horrible mistake on my part - I simply hit the 'Distribute' instead of 'Reject'.

Please delete the message and accept my apologies.
You should of course never reply to messages like that.

Similar case happened here a few weeks ago. We've got several offices around London and a bunch of flowers got delivered to our Paddington office on Valentines morning. Only problem is they weren't addressed from anybody, merely to "Hotrod". The secretary tried to send an email around saying that whoever's known as "Hotrod" by their partner could come and collect the flowers, but sent it to "all staff", including everybody at our offices in Farringdon and by Temple.

The poor girl hit "Reply All" by mistake, so now everybody knows that this one girl (some sales rep, apparently), is known as Hotrod.

****ing Registry office cocked it up right good and proper a few weeks back - some ****ing moron hit the Reply To All button on an email that effectively described how a student would be booted from the course...

Said email went to every student in the university...

That wasn't a fun night...

We had an email sent out by sports and social at work a month or so ago to all users offering deals on trips etc...a guy in the team I work closely with replied to his bird who works there about a naughty weekend away but hit reply to all.......he got saucy emails back for over a week.....quality.

On a different but kind of the same thing.....we got hold of a guys phone at work, got straight into FB and posts untold messages on how he was feeling...he wasn't amused, especially with some of the replies.
