To be fair though, Maher has improved from the last few games, but his set pieces are rubbish. Gower or maybe JCR should be taking them.

With respect, I was merely suggesting that without going to the match one can hardly build up an accurate idea of how individual players performed, but merely repeat the views of the commentators. I'm not saying she is wrong, merely questioning how she can be so sure without having been present.

It may well have been that the person in the chatroom was a Wiggy impersonator, and if that is the case then fair enough.

As for leaving her alone, I wasn't actually picking on her. Just felt it was a point that needed clearing up, as opinions formed through listening to a third party (ie commentary) aren't, in my opinion, as valid.

Yes, I realise that I, as you'll guess from my user name, don't get to see many games, but this is why I don't venture many opinions, or, if I do, make sure I acknowledge my lack of viewing opportunity.
