ELO's Mike Edwards dies

I was a bouncer at one of ELO's concerts at Wembley arena in 1978(courtesy of my Rugby playing flatmate-Wasps IIRC ).Not my usual sort of thing but I enjoyed the show.Thought Roy Wood was excellent.

Blimey. Yesterday I was going to post a funny video involving a bale of hay, but didn't get around to it.

RIP

(the video is here)

I was not into the early ELO stuff that much ..sad he has passed away....One of the bands I always wanted to see live but never got around to it.Their later music was awesome.

First Yasser Arafat and now Mike Edwards.

How's your luck?

Surely some mistake? Woody left ELO in '72.

I can only assume that said ELO member should have died in a recent plane crash/rollercoaster ride/multiple car pile-up, but didn't make the trip due to a premonition by Jeff Lynne. Suffice to say, in true Final Destination stylee, all ELO members will be bumped off in bizaare fashion over the next few weeks.

Surely if you are a member of ELO "it's a livin' thing"

Remember seing ELO at The Queens Hotel Westcliff when Roll over Beethoven was in charts - only about 20 people there tops!
