Editors/Long Way Down/Boxer Rebellion

For those that care...
1) I won't be at games in November due to touring across Europe with Editors.
Not sure many people on here could make any of them though!
2) The new series with Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman (Long Way Down) goes out on the BBC this Sunday. You might be interested to know that about half of the music used for this series is our 2nd album, particularly the first half of the series with them travelling through Europe so I'm told.
3) For anyone that fancies coming, we'll be playing Islington Academy on Tuesday December 4th, with support coming from Envy Corps.
Tickets on sale here:

Thankyou,
Piers.

Thankyou,

Blimey O'Reilly, that's a good bit of publicity being on the Ewan McGregor programme.

Good luck for the tour mate, saw Editors last Sunday night & they were well on form (as I said before, shame you never got the UK tour support slot too)!

Is the single still out Nov12?

Oh & anybody in mainland Europe who's near any of these shows (e.g. Einstein or DenHaag Shrimper in Holland) get along & support a fellow Shrimper. Having seen TBR for the first time live in the summer I can assure you they're a quality band!

He is a nice man is Piers and he has long hair like a proper Rock star:p

No...we put the single back for a couple of reasons. It's going to be last week in January. We are releasing an album track on November 26th, to keep people interested. I think it'll be out through myspace and itunes. i'm not sure. I don't really listen...I'll post back here when I find out.
But yeah, last week of Jan for the single anyway. I'm sure we'll be heading your way then too.

Cheers for the update.
Cool, lets hope any gig up here runs smoother than Mr (I've got an indie bar but haven't got the first clue about how to organise stuff) Box!

Yeah, that was a weird one. If it wasn't for my casino experience at 3 in the morning I wouldn't have enjoyed that weekend half as much.

I've just been toying with the idea of getting the Editors album, think I'm going to get it.

I'm a bit slow here keef, what band are you in? A late congratulations from me on touring with them, you must be good.

Editors are appalling, get a Joy Division album, or even an Interpol one before you even contemplate listening to that trash.
