Replace one donkey who doesn't score with another donkey, come on guys we all know southend like to get the ball down and play a bit ( not this season) our team doesn't thrive on the big donkey holding things up like other teams do....Barney and spencer will do for me
 
Am I the only one who is wondering if this is a new type of sex toy for the bored housewife?
 
I don't see the obsession with big targetmen that can't score, he have gone through a lot recently.

If we insist on bringing in big guys up top, I'd be looking at players like Marvin Morgan at Aldershot Town.

He is rumoured to be attracting interest from higher up the footballing pryamid, and will go for a 6 figure fee, which obviously rules us out, but that is the type of player we should be looking for if we go for a big man up top.

I know, the best partnerships we've had over the last couple of seasons have been Barnard and Walker when they both first joined us and Barney and Theo.

Exactly.

We don't put enough crosses into the box to warrant having a tall centre forward. As you say we need pace up top to go alongside Barnard (Until he leaves). Wayne Gray, another quick forward, did well alongside Eastwood.
 
Used to know a Luton Town season ticket holder who reckoned Enoch was one of the worst players he'd ever seen.

Surely no better than what we have then?
