On the Echo web site - it says something along the lines of 2 in 2 out. States that 2 fringe players are probably going one on a perm and one on a loan. Dont know how to do a link but it doesnt say much more than that except for that they expect us to sign Dougie and that we have signed the french one which we already know - so doesnt look like there will be a huge amount of activity tonight that we dont already know about unless Tilly isnt telling them everything.......

FWIW, I'd expect the two fringe players to be Harrold and Foran.

It's all very well signing Freedman (brilliant news in fact!) but I am worried that he won't get the service he will need. Barney has all to often been left trying to pick off high balls and as a result has had a very barren spell. Hopefully Christophe will turn out to be a decent signing and we will be able to extend his loan to have him alongside Macca when he is fit again but I am otherwise worried about our midfield, both going forward and holding onto the ball defensively.

I think it was Darlo managed by Dave Penny (ex-donny) - they might be more likely to take him than Foran.
The latter was popular there but I heard his wages were too high for a permanent signing

I can reveal that we did make a loan approach but Peter the Taylor wanted to make a permanent deal, he was also worried that staying locally the Bell End boo boys would start unless he scored by his 1st home game, which in fairness would be 4 games into the deal. So we lost out, still saved buying another set of bibs we would have lost as part of the deal.....
