Maybe they were waiting for the Earnshaw funds to make up an extra amount on the Freddy bid.

So we have Charlton and Norwich, both cash-rich, both needing a forward and both have expressed interest in Eastwood!

It seemed it at the time - just because things have panned out (seemingly) in our favour, it doesnt mean it would have done...

Just a nice gamble thats hopefully going to pay off!
