Any recommendations other than yahoo or hotmail for a decent, web-based, free e-mail system?

Preferably with as few fields to fill in as possible!

Everybody seems to be talking about 'gmail' but I've not actually looked into it. Might be worth a butcher's.

Agree with Dave. I've had a btinternet.com (now bt.yahoo.com) for ages and I've never had any issues with it ...

It's got ever expanding storage and a rather novel take on how you manage e-mails. It also groups replies and forwards together which is actually very useful.

Downside is that it doesn't seem to completely agree with POP but then if all you want is web-based, give us a PM.
