Duguid - At it Again

Not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere but I see our friendly alleged cheat was at it again during Col U's game with Cardiff. When Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink went through on the 'keeper Duguid wasted no time in getting involved. He was jabbing his finger at the ref and at Hasselbaink in an attempt to get him sent off - which obviously worked though I notice Cardiff are appealing so I suppose that decision will be soon. Hopefully, when reviewing the decison the Football League can look at Duguid's behaviour too. Perhaps they will rescind the decison and ban Dugiud.

Same ref at the Hall on Friday ... but more of that later.

In fairness, Duguid didn't make Hasselbaink kick the 'keeper in the head. Not sure there was any intent but the laws place more emphasis on playing in a manner which is likely to cause injury to other players.

Not sure that kicking a Col U keeper in the head is an offence.:)

Changing the subject a bit, here's another little gem from the asylum. After questionning the size of Fossett's Farm it appears that the inbreds will probably only half fill their own new stadium next year. Let me guess, all of the empty seats belonged to members of the forces, right? ;)

West Ham excepted, they're the most pathetic set of "fans" I've ever witnessed.

Cannot believe we are still going on about this, 18 months later!!!

In full agreement with Stevietheshrimper...let it go ffs, otherwise it just sounds like sour grapes!!!

I do find it amusing how our some fans feel the need to monitor their discussion boards and post comments on here...who cares what they are saying...concentrate on our team!!!

Sour grapes about what exactly? Their chances of being in the Championship next year? Their form? Stadium? Fanbase? Honours?

They made their bed by behaving the way they did last year when we all knew that their luck would run out sooner rather than later. If you just want to turn the other cheek then great, good for you. I personally intend to thoroughly enjoy every little misfortune on their part and pay their "fans" back with interest, with or without your approval.

The sour grapes are in relation to our fans STILL going on about a player involved in an incident against out team 18 MONTHS ago, it does not matter which team he plays for, it is about time everyone just got over it.

Enjoy your little personal crusade against them...I'll concentrate my efforts on OUR team I think

F**k me, its one year ago that the Scums was nearer the Play-Off in the Championship and their fans gloating about our relegation etc, now Duguid and the scums is going to get an taste of relegation. If thing work out well, Col Ewes will be relegated over the Easter Holiday, if not end of the March ..... at least we got relegated at before the last game of season.

We would have stayed up has we beaten the team in bottom 7, in fact we let ourself down last season. If we had our current squad included Freddy, we would be in 15th last season.

The bottom line is that I just can't stand cheats, and least of all ones who act proud of themselves about it, whether they're named Duguid, Thornton, Ronaldo or whatever else. As I pointed out before, the notion of us being somehow jealous or bitter towards his club is looking more and more ridiculous with every game they play.

I don't know about you, but I'm quite capable of enjoying our performances AND their misfortunes. Is there any particular reason why you feel why the two can't be combined?
