Dudfield

palexander

Life President
Pictured on Peterboroughs website in training. Will be playing tonight against Spalding.

Do the mods want to move this to 'ex-shrimpers?'...

He's a silly boy (or at least his muppet of an agent Cody is) as I can't see him getting 1st team football with Willock there & Benjamin (& the other striker who's name escapes me) signing last Friday.

Glad it wasn't JAY Smith

he said in the Echo that he needs a pre-season regime so that's what he's doing at Posh until his Southend future gets resolved

Remember Constantine? Had a trial with us, went to Rushden and played one, scored one, then came back to us and signed a contract

What is wrong with our pre-season regime?

Can't understand Lawrie wanting to drop down a division and compete for a place alongside all their strikers. Makes no sense.

He hasn't been invited to come and join in, that's what's wrong

How is Dudfield going to sign up with anyone as he is dependent on his agent who is laid up in hospital!

Even if we make him a better offer, he can't sign up so I am unfortunately resigned to losing him!

With what happened with Nicolau, surely the same should stand with Dudfield? Afterall, he is trying to impress another club so why should we want to keep him!

You can bet your life that if the club get anywhere near signing a forward, then Duds will be frozen out and the contract offer withdrawn.

True, but we obviously still haven't sorted Nicky's replacement out yet, as they would've been unveiled today.

Dudfield was 'poor' according to Posh fans in a 2-2 away draw with Spalding (Tevor Benjamin scored, wish we would have nipped in for him

)

He only played 25 minutes. With Willock, Benjamin and Crow he would be very lucky to be 3rd choice striker. Come on Lawrie - if you're settkling for squad rotation stick with us.

We've only got two strikers, he stands more chance of games if he stays here! There he was moaning about us being linked with ' a million and one' strikers and now he's on the brink of joining a club who have already signed three. And Peterborough are in a lower division. Mug.

You shouldn't be posting on here. You should be out celebrating the great man's birthday. I'm sure even at the age of 35 he recalls with affection his one substitute appearance !!
